Jaden M. Ugwuh, a nine-year-old boy from Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically killed in a shooting on August 13, 2016. On that night, assailants fired approximately 20 bullets into the home where Jaden and his family were sleeping. Jaden, along with his eight-year-old cousin Montell Ross, was struck during the gunfire. There were six young cousins present in the house at the time, along with their mothers. A 16-year-old girl was also injured but survived her wounds.
