On August 20, 2022, Jimmy Glen Palmer, a 21-year-old male from Porter, Texas, was tragically shot at the Montgomery Pines Apartment Complex on US Highway 59 in Porter. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received an assault-firearm call and dispatched deputies to the scene.
