On August 28, 2022, 17-year-old Jamarrien Monroe was tragically killed in a shooting outside a home on Steel Dust Drive in Fort Worth, Texas. Monroe's cousin, 5-year-old Rayshard Javon Scott, also lost his life in the incident, and Monroe's 18-month-old son was among the injured.
