On August 28, 2022, in Houston, Texas, 64-year-old white male, Dan Schupbach, was tragically killed in a calculated attack at his residence. The assailant, a long-time tenant of the multi-unit rental complex, initiated the assault by setting fire to the building. As residents evacuated to escape the flames, the perpetrator ambushed them with gunfire. This deliberate act resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including Schupbach, and injuries to at least two others.
