Larry Alvin Dixon, a 71-year-old man from Dickinson, Texas, tragically died on September 7, 2022. He was shot in the lower abdomen by his 39-year-old son, Brandon Lee Dixon, during a physical altercation at their home in the 4700 block of East 24th Street. The incident occurred on the night of September 6, 2022, when deputies from the Galveston County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance call.
