Esmeralda Salas, a 24-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on October 24, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a convenience store called Pik-Nik, located near the 900 block of Guadalupe Street. According to police reports, Salas was confronted by a group of individuals who accused her of stealing shoes.
