Fernando Olvera, a 23-year-old man from Lewisville, Texas, tragically died on November 22, 2022. His death was the result of a shooting that occurred during an argument over a cell phone. The incident took place around 10:15 p.m. on Ashwood Drive in Lewisville. Witnesses reported that the argument between Olvera and 20-year-old Joseluis Esai Vasquez escalated, leading Vasquez to shoot Olvera. Olvera was immediately taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead within the hour.
