Lawrence Howard Ostwald, a 34-year-old male from Riesel, Texas, tragically passed away on December 18, 2022, due to multiple gunshot wounds sustained in his home. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. when the Falls County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a shooting at a residence on Farm-to-Market Road 1240. Upon arrival, they found Ostwald with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
