In the Appalachian town of Oneida, Tennessee, a Thanksgiving weekend in 2003 was shattered by the violent death of a dedicated lawman. Hubert Dean 'John John' Yancey, a 35-year-old Caucasian male and a sergeant with the Scott County Sheriff's Department, was a husband and a father to three sons.
