Jason Michael Scott, a 24-year-old male deputy with the Loudon County Sheriff's Department, was shot and killed on March 12, 2004, while responding to a domestic violence call in Loudon, Tennessee. Scott, who was a three-year veteran of the sheriff's department, was shot multiple times by 16-year-old Michael Harvey, the son of a local prosecutor, as he stepped out of his car in front of the Harvey residence.
