On a summer morning in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, the quiet of a residential neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. On June 1, 2014, deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a home at 9008 Wellthor Circle following a report of a shooting. Inside, they discovered 63-year-old Sandra Davis suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency services transported her to a local hospital, but her injuries proved to be fatal, and she was pronounced dead.
