Cody Dwight Dowdy, a 22-year-old male from Byrdstown, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on July 30, 2014. Cody, along with his father, Danny Dowdy, was found dead at their business, the Sugar Shack, located in Static, Tennessee. The Sugar Shack, a bar and package store, was situated near the Tennessee-Kentucky state line. The incident occurred late on a Wednesday night, and both Cody and his father were discovered with fatal gunshot wounds.
