David Michael Bewig, aged 31, was shot and killed on December 8, 2016, in St. Louis, Missouri. His body was found inside his car on Etzel Avenue in the early morning hours of December 9th. Bewig was a music promoter, and his untimely death shocked the local community. The investigation eventually led to the arrest of Darin Schmidt, who was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in August 2019. Witness testimonies indicated that Schmidt had confessed to the crime.
