In the early morning hours of August 26, 2015, in Covington, Tennessee, the life of 29-year-old Crystal Shad Herbert-Weathers was tragically cut short. Inside her home at 100 Canterbury Circle, an altercation with her boyfriend, Windal Sherel Edwards, escalated to a fatal conclusion. Herbert-Weathers was shot multiple times in an act of violence that reverberated through the community.
