Brittany L. Murray, a 25-year-old woman from Kingsport, TN, tragically died on October 1, 2016, in Church Hill, TN. She was fatally shot by her 43-year-old aunt, Beth Anne Manis, following a heated argument via text messages. The incident occurred when Brittany arrived at her aunt's home around 9:35 p.m. As she stepped out of her vehicle and approached the residence, Manis allegedly fired a shot from a .357 revolver, striking Brittany in the head.
