In the winter of 2016, a family argument in Memphis, Tennessee, ended in tragedy, leaving a son dead and his stepfather facing a murder charge. On the morning of December 8th, 33-year-old Montrail Williams was at his family's home on Whitney Avenue in the Frayser neighborhood. An argument broke out between Williams and his stepfather, Tommy Porter. The disagreement escalated, and the verbal confrontation turned violent.
