On a Sunday in January of 2017, the life of a young boy from Clarksville, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. Eleven-year-old Brock Wyatt Blick was on a hunting trip in the Cedar Hill area on January 8th when he was fatally wounded by a shotgun blast. The incident was reported as a hunting accident that occurred at the Three Feathers Hunting Preserve.
At the time of his death, Brock was a sixth-grade student at Richview Middle School, where he was known for his cheerful and engaging personality.
Brock was born on February 8, 2005, to his parents Mark and Jeri Blick. He was described as a young man for whom affection and empathy were second nature. His passions included baseball, golf, and hunting. He had a deep love for animals, particularly cows, which was evident from a very young age. This love for animals and agriculture would later be honored by his family through an endowment at Austin Peay State University.

As a result, there were no arrests or suspects named in connection with the fatal hunting accident.
