Dontae Craigen, a 21-year-old African American male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on July 18, 2017. He was fatally shot during an altercation that began with an argument earlier that day. Later, while visiting his father on Wilson Street, shots were fired from a silver Infiniti, leading to his death. His father, Charles Craigen, was also injured in the shooting.
