On July 20, 2018, Jamie Scott Barron, a 27-year-old male from Gadsden, Alabama, tragically died from a gunshot wound to the head in Sevierville, Tennessee. The incident occurred at the Hampton Inn on Winfield Dunn Parkway around 11:41 PM. Barron was found in a nearby truck, while another man, James Douglas Moyer, 28 years old from Piedmont, Alabama, was discovered in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
