On July 25, 2018, Rose Heatherly, a 54-year-old woman from LaFollette, Tennessee, tragically lost her life in a domestic shooting incident. The incident occurred at her home on Chapman Crest Drive, where her husband, Michael Heatherly, 64, shot her before threatening to take his own life. When law enforcement arrived, a brief standoff ensued, during which Michael Heatherly pointed a gun at the officers.
