In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in August 2018, the quiet of a Maryville, Tennessee neighborhood was shattered by a fatal act of violence. Jimmy Shelton, a 44-year-old man, was shot multiple times at a residence on Beaver Drive and pronounced dead at the scene.
