In the summer of 2020, the quiet community of Jacksboro, Tennessee, was shaken by the tragic death of a longtime resident. Dannie 'Boone' Green, a 70-year-old male, was found deceased at his residence on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Green was a United States Army veteran and a retiree from the Town of Jacksboro Street and Sanitation Department. He was known by friends and family for his enjoyment of woodworking, building, gardening, and feeding chipmunks.
