Brandi M. Ladd, a 37-year-old woman from Portland, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on December 10, 2020. She was fatally shot during a physical altercation at her home, which involved a 17-year-old male suspect. The suspect, who was known to Brandi's family and occasionally stayed at their residence, was taken into custody at the scene. He was later charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
