In the quiet town of Bethpage, Tennessee, a devastating event unfolded on December 11, 2020, forever altering the lives of a local family. Nine-year-old Ezekiel 'Zeke' Raye Iacob, a White male, and his 31-year-old mother, Jessie Binkley Iacob, were found shot to death in their home. Ezekiel, a fourth-grade student at Jack Anderson Elementary School, was remembered as a fun-loving and sweet boy who shared a close bond with his mother.
The investigation into the double homicide quickly led
authorities to a person of interest. Evidence discovered at the scene pointed toward Kevin Marc Moore, a former employee of the Binkley family's business who had recently been terminated. The Sumner County Sheriff's Office identified Moore as the suspect, initiating a search for him. Warrants were issued for Moore's arrest on two counts of first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
The manhunt for Moore concluded tragically when authorities located him at his residence in Gallatin.
