In the late summer of 2021, the life of Chase Edward Ray Turner, a 30-year-old White/Caucasian male from the Seymour area of Tennessee, was abruptly ended. On the evening of September 8, 2021, authorities were called to his residence on Boyd's Creek Highway where they discovered he had been shot. Emergency medical services transported him to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
