A young mother is killed during a burglary in Minneapolis
Tina Slaughter, a 27-year-old single mother of two young boys, was brutally murdered in her Minneapolis apartment on July 11, 1985. On the night of the attack, an intruder broke into her home on Fremont Avenue North and stabbed her multiple times. Despite her injuries, Tina managed to flee to a neighbor’s door to ask for help.
