Johnny Leon Diven, a 51-year-old man from Buchanan, Tennessee, tragically passed away on December 5, 2021. He was found deceased next to his vehicle on Highway 79N. Initially, it was believed that he had been hit by a vehicle, but further investigation revealed that Diven had suffered a gunshot wound. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Henry County Emergency Medical Services, responded to the scene.
