Abdi Abdullahi, an 18-year-old, was fatally shot on April 11, 2008, in Minneapolis. Abdullahi was sitting in a car near Cedar Avenue and Sixth Street South when he was gunned down in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. His death deeply affected the Somali community, which held several rallies to mourn his loss and demand justice.
