Wayne Troy Fross, a 51-year-old man from Harriman, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on June 27, 2022, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred on June 24, 2022, when deputies from the Roane County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting in the 700 block of Hassler Mill Road. Upon arrival, they found Fross deceased from a gunshot wound. The case was immediately classified as a homicide, and an investigation was launched to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
