In the late afternoon hours of a Friday in June 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at a residence on Hassler Mill Road in Harriman, Tennessee. When authorities from the Roane County Sheriff's Department arrived at 725 Hassler Mill Road, they discovered the body of 51-year-old Wayne Troy Fross. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
