On a tragic summer morning in Martin, Tennessee, the life of 31-year-old Marcetta Rashae Ross was violently cut short. The African American woman was found deceased on North College Street on August 28, 2022, the victim of a shooting that authorities would later describe as a domestic disturbance that ended in a murder-suicide.
