On October 23, 1967, Elmer E. Weaver, a 37-year-old male, was tragically killed in a mass shooting at the Hammermill Paper Company in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. The perpetrator, Leo Held, a 40-year-old employee at the company, carried out a calculated and devastating attack that resulted in the deaths of six people and injuries to six others.
