David Barkus, a 30-year-old male from Morea, Pennsylvania, tragically lost his life on August 15, 2002. He was one of five victims in a horrific shooting incident at the home of Michael Harley Bechtel, 26, in Mahanoy Township. The other victims included Bechtel's estranged wife, Raienhna P. Bechtel, 22, their 3-year-old son Jacob Bechtel, and Kristen L. Tragus, 34.
