Jolesa M. Barber, a 12-year-old girl from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life on January 28, 2008. She was at her sister's house in the Perry South neighborhood when more than 40 rounds were fired at the home, resulting in her death. The incident was part of a gang-related attack, and the violence deeply affected the community.
