In what began as a neighborhood feud, 51-year-old Brooks Jennings was shot and killed. The fatal encounter was the culmination of a series of disputes with his neighbor.

The relationship between Jennings and his neighbor had been deteriorating for some time, leading to multiple calls to the police.
