Thomas L. Hayden Sr., a 62-year-old man from Dover Township, PA, went missing in the fall of 2011. His disappearance remained a mystery until January 18, 2012, when a bloody scalp and hair, along with pieces of cloth, were found in a FoodSaver bag along Conewago Road in Dover Township. The remains were not identified until 2017, when DNA samples provided by Hayden's brothers confirmed they belonged to him.
