On January 12, 2014, in Wayne, Pennsylvania, 48-year-old Linda Rooney, a white female, was found deceased alongside her 49-year-old husband, Timothy Rooney, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident occurred in the pool house of their residence, with a .357 Magnum handgun recovered at the scene.
