Alita Michele Byrd, a 50-year-old woman from Wayne, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life on January 31, 2018. She was identified as one of the victims in a murder-suicide incident that occurred in her home. The other victim was her 23-year-old son, Devon Byrd. According to the Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office, Devon Byrd shot his mother before taking his own life.
