On May 11, 2014, Jeffrey Jackson, a 38-year-old man from Homewood, PA, was tragically shot and killed outside of the Art House, a neighborhood safe haven in Homewood. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. near the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Hale Street. Jackson was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and died at the scene.
