On a cold December evening in 1976, just three days before Christmas, 12-year-old Jill Robinson had an argument with her mother at their home in Royal Oak, Michigan. The disagreement, reportedly over helping with dinner, led to Jill leaving the house on her bicycle in an agitated state. She was last seen by a family friend riding her bike.
