Jessica Phelps, a four-year-old girl from Flint, Michigan, vanished on July 1, 1997, while playing outside her home on Maryland Avenue. Her mother, Tamara Kinney, had left her briefly to take a shower. When Tamara came out, she discovered Jessica missing and immediately began searching with the help of neighbors. Despite their efforts and a large-scale search involving hundreds of volunteers, police, and even assistance from America's Most Wanted, Jessica could not be found.
