Carolyn Marry Kern, a 68-year-old woman from Burgettstown, PA, tragically died on October 13, 2015, from a shotgun wound to the chest. The Washington County Coroner's Office ruled her death a homicide. She was found dead in her vehicle on McNeeley Road near Strope Road in Jefferson Township. Investigators believe that her vehicle was rammed from behind, and she was shot through the driver's side window.
