On the evening of January 8, 2010, police in Detroit, Michigan, were alerted to a violent incident on the city’s northwest side. Officers responded to the intersection of West McNichols Road and Forrer Street, a busy corridor in Wayne County. It was at this location, specifically near the 15800 block of West McNichols, that authorities discovered the body of 32-year-old Kirkland Telluss.
