In the late morning of a Friday in Mountville, Pennsylvania, the life of 15-year-old Ibram Hanna was tragically cut short. On August 12, 2016, inside a home on West Main Street, Hanna was fatally wounded by a single gunshot. A student at Hempfield High School, where he was an upcoming sophomore and a football player, his sudden death sent ripples of grief through the community.
