On a Sunday in April of 2017, the life of 22-year-old Timothy Hughin Demeritt of Mohnton, Pennsylvania, was tragically cut short. The young man, a student at Berks Technical Institute, was at a friend's house in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, spending his time playing video games with friends. An argument broke out, not even involving Demeritt, but another young man present, 19-year-old Alexander Murray of East Earl, decided to intervene in a fateful and reckless manner.
