On a summer evening in Detroit, 24-year-old Christopher Harris was at a Marathon gas station on June 26, 2010, when his life was abruptly cut short. The young man was inside the gas station, located in the 14000 block of Edmore Drive near 8 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue, at approximately 10:15 p.m. when a vehicle, described as an eggshell-colored Crown Victoria from around 1997, pulled up.
