Lamar W. Meekins, a 39-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Chester, PA, tragically passed away on December 29, 2017. His death was ruled a homicide, and he was one of 29 individuals whose deaths were classified as such in Chester that year. The community mourned his loss, and a funeral service was held on January 12, 2018, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Chester.
