Kasandra Ortiz, a 23-year-old woman from Shamokin, Pennsylvania, tragically died on February 26, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on May 23, 1994, she moved to Shamokin seven years prior to her death. Kasandra was a laborer for Robert Gilligbauer and attended Trevorton schools. She is survived by her parents, Angelic Ortiz and Jason Maisonet, and her children, Jacob Tonini, Marley Kashner, and Vince Kurtz-Kehler.
