His death was ruled a homicide by the Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office, as he suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred in the basement of the split-level home he shared with his girlfriend, Doritisha Lyons, and her son, Nasir Hassan Saleem Jr.
