In the late hours of a Friday night in June 2019, the life of Kaine Williams, a 34-year-old African American man from McKeesport, Pennsylvania, was brought to a tragic and violent end. On June 21, just before 11:30 p.m., Williams was outside his home on Sumac Street with a woman when a car pulled up. The man behind the wheel was Marcus Acie-Griffin, the ex-boyfriend of the woman Williams had recently started dating.
