In the late summer of 2019, the life of a young girl from Exeter, Pennsylvania, was tragically cut short, leaving a community in mourning and a family heartbroken. Fifteen-year-old Emily Winburn died on Saturday, September 21, 2019, from a fatal gunshot wound. At the time of her death, she was a ninth-grade student in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District.
